Arrival by plane
You have two choices: either you take a flight directly to
Stuttgart, or you take a flight to Frankfurt and a train to
Stuttgart.
Flight to Stuttgart airport (STR)

station is one level below the airport terminal.

get off at Universität. The trip takes 16
minutes.
For the subway you need to buy a ticket for 2 zones (either type
in the number 002 for "2 zones" or the number 240 for

- After getting off the S-Bahn, follow the instructions in the
section on the campus.

at Frankfurt airport to Stuttgart Hauptbahnhof (Hbf)
(main station). The trip takes about 1 hour and 15
minutes. The ICE leaves Frankfurt about twice every
hour.

checked through to Stuttgart and can be picked up at the
Lufthansa counter at the main station.
